Festival Rebranding Project
This project was centered around taking a previously existing festival/event and rebranding it around touchpoints identified to help the event in various ways. (Social Media, New Logo, Posters, Etc.)
Concepts and Moodboards
Below is the original Logo/Mascot of the Sertoma Icecream Festival and a corresponding moodboard for the project. This project’s goal was to bring the festival’s identity into a more modern/mainstream focus to attract more people to the more rural community. As such, raising more funds for the festival which nearly all proceeds go to chairty.
Digital Sketches
From the mood board, the digital sketch process began. Below are some initial designs as well as color studies. The thought moving through these sketches was how to keep a sense of the area, (in this case Ohio), and maintain colors that were fun and fitting for icecream. Thus, through many of the sketches: one may notice the bottom of the icecream scoop is actually the bottom map of Ohio.
Final Output
Finally, after many sketches and reviews: a final mark with brand guidelines was created. From this, various touchpoints were able to be created such as posters, wristbands, social media posts, and merchandise.
